General Description
The Aardwolf Forklift Boom
FB1-2720 is a telescoping attachment designed for use with 2-tonne and
2.5-tonne forklift trucks. Constructed from high-grade Australian rectangular
tube steel (AS1163-450 LO), it offers durability and reliability. The boom extends
from 1,610 mm to 2,724 mm in two increments of 557 mm, providing flexibility in
reach. When fully retracted, it has a working load limit of 1,500 kg; when
fully extended, the limit is 500 kg. The boom is secured onto the fork blades
by two bolts located at the back of each fork pocket and restraint pins,
ensuring stability during operation. Additionally, the design prevents the boom
extension from being pulled all the way out, enhancing safety.
